ECPGA Championship

The ECPGA Championship returns September 12–13 at TPC Las Vegas for two days of stroke-play golf, momentum swings, questionable decisions, and the kind of pressure that only exists when absolutely nothing important is on the line except pride. Played over 36 holes, the ECPGA has become an annual tradition built on competition, trash talk, miraculous shots, devastating blowups, and the ongoing psychological warfare that naturally develops when the same three guys keep trying to beat each other year after year.

The winner earns more than just the championship title. Along with a full year of bragging rights comes possession of the legendary ugly jacket, which the reigning champion is expected to continue adding to over time for reasons nobody fully understands anymore. The champion also earns the right to choose the location of next year’s tournament and host the annual Champions Dinner, where stories grow dramatically less accurate with each passing season.
